New Football Stadium
Truro City Football Club – First Phases
Located on the edge of Truro at West Langarth, Truro Sports Hub, provides a purpose-built stadium and forms the long-term home for Truro City Football Club.
The Sports Hub forms an initial phase of works to deliver a football stadium capable of achieving a ground capacity of 3,000 spectators, coinciding with Truro City FC's promotion to the National League South for the 2024/25 season. Works were commenced in 2023 and initially completed in 2024 ready for Truro City FC’s first season at the Sports Hub which ended successfully for The Tinners, as league champions.
Designed to meet the club’s needs while supporting wider community use, the development includes: two full-size pitches, covered spectator stands, a two-storey clubhouse with changing, a bar, and meeting facilities. Landscape integration, Cornish hedging, and a fan zone form part of a considered and sustainable design.
Our CAD Architects and CAD Planning teams have continued our involvement for the Sports Hub, providing Architectural and Masterplanning services for the site which subsequently enabled the extension of the North Stand from 260 to 764 Seats, increasing the capacity of Truro City Sports Hub to 3,200. We have also recently assisted with the development of a community sports changing room facility on the site.
Truro Sports Hub now plays a vital role as the home of one of Cornwall's Premier sports clubs, and a significant contributor to sport and community facilities in Truro and Cornwall. The successful project continues to be well acknowledged by local communities and has received both county wide and national acclaim.
We are now continuing our journey with Truro Sports Hub and continue to work on a new exciting chapter for the site to further enhance the Sports Hub and wider community facilities, click here to see more.
