About CAD Architects

The company was founded in November 2000 by Mark Dawes, Steve Hooper, Roger Hocking and the late Paul Newton. It was originally called Cornwall Architectural Design Ltd.

The founders had a vision of creating a leading architectural practice that would compete with the larger firms outside of Devon and Cornwall. Having subsequently been joined by Christopher Hendra and Peter Bayly, the company has gone on to achieve that goal.

The company changed its name to CAD Architects Ltd in November 2003.

Since its inception, CAD Architects has instilled an ethos of delivering outstanding results for all its clients, combined with a down to earth working style. The success of that approach can be demonstrated by the numerous successful commissions it has completed, its excellent track record with planning approvals, and the industry awards it has achieved.
