Plans to build 19 affordable dwellings in Trewoon, St Austell have been given approval at committee. These proposals include 15 houses and 4 flats, with a variety of house types ranging from 1 bed to 3 bed units. Each dwelling will have dedicated gardens and parking spaces. The development includes improvements to St Mewan Lane and introduces a new section of footway and crossing points for pedestrians. These dwellings will provide much needed local housing with 75% Affordable Rented Accommodation and 25% Shared Ownership. CAD Architects have worked hard to deliver this approval, developing the design to respond to a number of ecological constraints on site.
We are pleased to have been able to deliver this approval for our client, Gilbert and Goode which is part of the Ocean Housing Group. We look forward to seeing this project progressing.
